Consistency (in EVERYTHING) IS THE KEY to winning in life

Don’t get me wrong, this is a something that I’m still working on. I’ve not yet perfected consistency in everything.  There are times that I need to apply discipline in order for me to keep up with being consistent but the key here is sharing what I know is truth.
I guess I know it’s truth because you could say I already mastered and majored in not being consistent with a few things thus far in life; and that has not been because I didn’t have passion, zeal or whatever else, it’s just that in life sometimes although we may know truth human nature may at times  creep in and if/when that happens, we may be forced to see what or how else we can make things work; but all along the way consistency is if you like, the breath to what we may be trying to put together at any given time.  When you stop being consistent, your vision stops breathing for a moment. You put something on pause for some time.  That’s just how important consistency is.

So we’re talking about being consistent so we can win in life.  So we can win at the things we begin to do. Amen.

By the way, I will like to wish all of us a very Happy New Year and a prosperous 2018. God in His faithfulness has brought us into a new thing so let’s continue with the faith thing as we look to God to guide and help us walk into manifestations of what we desire in Jesus’ name amen.

Consistency in everything is key to winning in life. Thankfully, I may not have to elaborate much because I think the title speaks for itself.

Listen brothers and sisters, if you and I want to see results, this title is telling us that we must simply keep keeping on until we do see results. There must be no quitting and there really is no two ways about it.
You plant a seed and you do what you must until you see that plant bear fruit.  However due to having to wait, as well as the task of having to nature that plant until it bares fruit, I will just add here that we must be certainthat whatever we are starting is the right thing because the key here is to not give up; so therefore we first need to be involved with something that we are passionate about.
Something which is our calling for example so that when the going gets tough, if we needed to take time out to clear our mind, evaluate, re-strategize etc. etc., we would sooner or later get back on track again because we’re in it for the long haul and consistency is the key to seeing it all come together, to become the perfect picture that we want it to be.

I write from experience of having started something that I was consistent with and passionate about, however found it a necessity at a time to deal with re-evaluation and re-planning along the way when the going got tough. I’ve learnt and I know what I’m talking about.  It’s quite simple really.  The only thing that will get us through to see the end result of what we start is consistency.  If we are not consistent it will be tough to stay the course because things happen along the way to fulfilling dreams and realizing goals.

We have imaginations of our visions before we start working on them and implementing things, possibly imagining things running smoothly.  We imagine the perfect picture of the final outcome but unfortunately whilst dreaming, we do not or dare I say cannot always anticipate the many different bumps we might come across on the road.  We only find that out after we’ve began whilst on the journey.
Being consistent is therefore key to us winning and will also require us having to be diligent and then applying discipline on top of that.  These all go hand in hand.  Being consistent is simply, having a no quitting and I can do all things (through Christ who strengths me) attitude at all times. Being consistent is, we may fall down but we get up.  It’s as the Bible says a righteous man falls seven times but rises up again each and every time knowing that at the point you fail to get up and keep going is precisely the point that the vision ends.  That would be the beginning of the end of that vision so you can see here that consistency is indeed key to staying the course on to the finishing line.

Dreaming is easy but we must remember that nothing good comes easy.  It’s a lie if anyone told me contrary because if something good is coming easy that would only be because of favour.  Favour is when you come into something that you didn’t have to work for.  However, even in such circumstances you realize somebody will have had to put in some work in order for you to come into that something by favour so therefore I say again, nothing good comes easy.  If you want a good thing in life, there will be work involved.  In fact even being consistent involves doing. You have to do it.  You have to work it.

So even if we come into something because of the favour of God, we would still have had to sacrifice something in order to come into that favour.  We may have to sacrifice a number of things, for example, sacrificing time being diligent in our walk with God, waiting on Him, our study of His Word, being faithful, fasting, not grumbling during waiting periods of our lives…etc. etc. but the long and short of it is that nothing good comes easy or without some sort of giving of ourselves.  There will always be some sort of  giving in some way in order for us to be rightly positioned to receive.   So guys (and dolls) lol.  That’s the key.

In the process of visions and the birthing of them, there will always be seed, time then harvest and we cannot afford to become weary.  The Bible tells us that we will reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9) so we cannot afford to become weary.  We must ensure that our endeavours are the correct endeavours to begin with because of course once started; we won’t see results unless we are consistent and remember with consistency, we will also require diligence and discipline or else we will not make it.

We also need God’s grace… simply because we cannot do it all in our own strength. As children of God, we identify with God, therefore once we’re born again, with our lives belonging to God, it becomes our duty to do as we are told in Proverbs 3 6…to acknowledge God in all our ways so He will have the opportunity to direct our paths into success.

Guys if you’ve failed at anything before, that’s ok.  So have I but remember this, it is not over until God says it’s over.

Our story concerning anything in life is that ‘it's never over until God says it’s over’.  Remember that before and during the vision you must always lean on God.  When you are feeling weary because of whatever the reason, you are allowed to stop, lean on God and tell Him exactly how you are feeling.
The Holy Spirit will step in and be all that we need Him to be if we acknowledge Him.  We can be refreshed, redirected, we can get all that we need in order to get going again….so remember again it’s not over until God says it’s over.

Guys in all I’ve written, let me just add now that we also need to be patient. Whatever we’ve decide we are going to do, whatever we’ve set our hearts and minds on to build is ours, so let’s be patient.
Being patient is being kind to ourselves. It is being fair to ourselves.  It’s not putting undue pressure on ourselves, not draining ourselves to rush and burn out so we end up not having what it takes to go the long haul.
We are not in this by ourselves.  God is with us, so let’s just go again, and keep going for we will reap if we faint not.  God is on our side and because He is with us, we can never fail IF we are consistent and do not faint. Amen.

Thank you so much for reading.  If you have been blessed, please do kindly share and allow someone else to receive something also.  Please do also leave a comment. It helps. Thank you. God bless you richly in Jesus’ name. Amen.
